During this week’s posts, I have had readers, rightfully so, point out that the story a book tells is far more important than the cover. Though I whole heartedly agree, I’ve argued that the cover is less about the reader and more about the buyer (potential reader). After all, a new book is added to Amazon every four minutes, and there are over 11M books on the site at any given time. That’s a lot of noise to compete with, and a catchy cover can go a long way toward getting that potential reader’s attention.
Decide for yourself if my book covers would encourage you to make the leap from a buyer to a reader…
